Information: Dick and Kathy Fankhauser live in Olympia, Washington. They attend the Olympia-Lacey Church of God where they have been active members for nearly 30 years. They were married December 28, 2002. Together, they have 19 children including spouses, and 19 grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Dick and his former wife Dianne were graduates of the LIVE Ministries coordinator class of ’96. Dick has been a coordinator ever since. Dianne passed away in May of 2001. Kathy was Dianne’s sister and one of her best friends. Kathy has been very familiar with LIVE Ministries as she was a part of the team at each of the LIVE weekends that Dick and Dianne coordinated. It’s an amazing God story which they enjoy sharing.
Dick recently retired from Washington State Parks where he worked for nearly 30 years in site planning and acquisition. In addition to participation in LIVE Ministries, he is busy in church administration and music and sings tenor in a gospel quartet. Kathy recently retired from the Washington State Legislature where she worked as a Legislative assistant to numerous members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. She too is busy in the church with women’s ministries and music. Their favorite thing to do since retiring is spending lots of time with family.

"Dedicated to congregational renewal using ordinary laypeople
to share what God is doing in their lives:
We call this a LIVE weekend!"

Our Inheritance

"also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according
to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will, to the end that we who
were the first to hope in Christ should be to the praise of His glory."

 Ephesians 1: 11—12                      (NASV)
